Our Beyond Beginners class is great if you've done some yoga already (perhaps our Beginners course) and want to build your practice by adding further poses, more challenge and new transitions.
This class moves faster than Beginners but is slower than our Slow Flow or Vinyasa classes. In this class you work at a similar pace to the Beyond Beginners class.
This class is also a good starting point for confident beginners to yoga and anyone returning to yoga after a break.
After a few months (or even weeks) you'll feel confident to move on to, or add in, other classes.
You can use your membership, class pass or pay-as-you-go to attend Beyond Beginners Yoga.
-
The class was originally created to provide a next level after our Beginners Course. However, many people with lots of experience also choose to do Beyond Beginners as it offers an opportunity to slow down and revisit the foundations of practice. It is a good complement to faster-paced classes.
If you are a confident beginner, you don’t need any previous yoga experience to do this class.

Yin Yoga is a practice rooted in Daoist philosophy, targeting the body’s connective tissues, such as fascia, ligaments, joints and bones. It moves at a very slow pace and postures are held for 3-5 minutes for deep release and activation of the body’s meridian pathways.
The practice includes the use of props for support, but the objective is to explore the spaces of resistance and surrender, balancing effort with ease.
-
The class offers a peaceful space for slow practice but can be challenging due to the length of holds.
It is not suitable if you have acute joint injuries and please contact us for advice if you have extreme hypermobility, osteoporosis or are pregnant.
