GETTING HERE

We are based on Chestergate, behind Primark in the town centre. Our building is between the Plaza and the Air Raid Shelters, right next to the taxi rank.

Do you remember FarmFoods or Chestergate Department Store? We are opposite there!

If using sat nav or Google maps, beware - the postcode will lead you to the top of the building which is on Mersey Square. Ignore this and head down and round past the Plaza.

Chestergate is just off the main A6 road and a few minutes from junction 1 of the M60.

The exterior of a brick building with green signs for "Upward Frog Yoga Studio" displaying classes for all abilities and beginners welcome. There are colorful illustrations of people practicing yoga on the wall outside.

If you are travelling by car there are several options for parking:

  • Street parking on Chestergate and the surrounding roads. Pay at the meter during the day, free before 8.00am and after 6.00pm and also all day on Sunday and Bank Holidays.

  • NCP car parks at Redrock and Merseyway are a few minutes walk away, reasonably priced, free after 6.00pm and on Bank Holidays.

  • ASDA is a five minute walk from the studio and offers 2 hours parking for £1.00, free if you spend £5.00.

Stockport bus station is a one minute walk away. About 50 buses serve the town centre.

Stockport train station is a five minute walk and is connected by local trains as well as trains to London and other major destinations.

Cycle stands are available between Boots and Primark.

Finally, there is always a taxi (black cab) outside the studio.
