About Steph

I’ve moved back North after 16 years living in London and am getting used to a different pace of life! I love spending time with my family and friends and taking my dog on walks out in the peaks. I studied fashion at uni and was a fashion buyer for 17 years so I also love being creative, plus exploring different countries and cultures for inspiration.

I’ve been practicing yoga for over 10 years and teaching for 7, plus I’m a qualified yoga therapist supporting people to live with the best quality of life possible whether that’s improving their mental health or reducing pain.

Describe your teaching style

I teach the same way I practice, with creative sequencing to encourage felt experience, intuitive movement and playful exploration! I believe that yoga is for every body and is not ‘one size fits all’ approach so I empower my students to practice in a way that feels the most supportive for them on that day, and to take what they learn on the mat into their every day lives. For me yoga isn’t just a physical practice so I weave philosophy, pranayama and meditation into my classes as well as asana.
