Stockport Warm Spaces Project

In partnership with The Wellbeing Initiative and funded by Stockport Council, we were able to offer a warm space on Wednesday mornings for parents and caregivers to take part in a baby yoga, massage and sensory session. Food and drinks were also available.

The Warm Spaces project ran between 8 February and 5 April 2023. It was aimed and parents, caregivers and their babies aged from 12 weeks until approximately 11-12 months (pre walking).

🤍

Thanks to the support of Stockport Council, the sessions were provided completely free of charge to the attendees and everything needed for the sessions (eg massage oil, sensory materials) was provided including food and drink for adults and babies

  • As a first time mum these classes were a great way to bond with my baby and meet other mums. I enjoyed the sessions and Claire was a lovely instructor. Thank you for this opportunity to explore yoga with my baby.

  • This was such a lovely project. It’s always hard getting out and meeting people with a baby and I made local friends and connections that I wouldn’t have otherwise made. The classes were so lovely and my baby and I both loved every second.
