On the first Friday of each month we offer an extended practice of 90 minutes. Each month the class focuses on a specific aspect of our yoga practice. The focus might be a specific posture, a theme, a part of the body or a group of poses.
In September we are working on building strength and flexibility in our hips and hamstrings. We will be strengthening and releasing the lower body as well as the lower spine and the fascial tissue of the IT band. A great practice if you are tightening these areas through extended sitting (such as at your work desk, or driving), or through exercise such as running, walking and cycling.
Suitable for yogis of all levels of experience.
